Please let us know out here in Oregon when the Joe Hill Roadshow will be here — especially in Southern Oregon venues such as Ashland or Medford. Will it come to Eugene? We could do that also. Thanks!

It should be noted that Lil’ Rev, Bucky Halker and JP Wright were performers on the Joe Hill Roadshow for the Midwest. It was actually Bucky and Lil’ Rev who organized all the dates in the Midwest. Further, Bucky Halker just released a 6 song EP of all Joe Hill songs, some of which have never been recorded or put to music, for the tour. A complete album will be out later in June 2015.

I too hope the tour can make it to North Carolina. The turnout might not be that large, but I live in Durham, teach economics at a community college in Raleigh, and would be happy to go through all the bureaucratic BS that would result if I had to call in sick to make it to an appearance almost anywhere in the state.

There will be a show Sept. 30 in Asheville, N.C. Details soon. We are trying to fill in some dates for the Southern leg (which will be shorter than originally hoped for) and adding them to the calendar as they fill in.

Let’s see: It’s a 4-hour drive, and I get out of class about 3:30 — might just be able to make it, since I have no classes on the 1st!
